AT THE LEVEL OF AN APPLICATION PROVIDING A CORPORATE SERVICE
Iteh International experts audit software solutions used by the customer and study the possibility of software clustering in accordance with the best practices and recommendations of the software solution developer.
AT THE LEVEL OF A THIRD-PARTY CLUSTERING AND LOAD BALANCING SOFTWARE SOLUTION
If the software used does not have official clustering mechanisms, Iteh International specialists work out clustering options using third-party software solutions.
Through the use of additional clustering solutions, it is possible to implement Asset-Asset systems to provide load balancing, or Asset-Passive systems for hot-swap functionality in case of a software solution failure.
AT THE VIRTUALISATION PLATFORM LEVEL
By working out the correct migration policies for virtual machines between nodes of the Affinity Rules virtualisation cluster, additional protection is provided against the failure of hardware components of the IT infrastructure. In case of unavailability of the virtualisation server, all critical virtual machines will be automatically restarted on the remaining operational servers, thereby minimising the downtime of the corporate service.
Flexible configuration of virtual machine migration policies between virtualisation cluster nodes is also possible in order to ensure the most efficient use of available hardware resources.
AT THE HARDWARE LEVEL
The designed IT infrastructure is built on the basis of equipment with redundancy of key hardware components of servers/storage according to the N+ 1 scheme.
With increased requirements for fault tolerance, a transmission network and a data storage network with multiple network paths can be designed to ensure network fault tolerance in the event of a failure of one of the routers or a SAN switch.
AT THE DATA CENTER LEVEL
When designing a data center, Iteh International engineers are working on options for building geo-distributed disaster-resistant systems that allow maintaining the operability of key software services even in the event of a failure of the entire site. Key systems continue to operate at the customer's standby site, which is awaiting failure.
Additionally, clustering can be provided at the site level by implementing systems such as "stretched SAN", Metro-cluster at the storage level, Site Recovery and SRM systems at the virtualisation level or a load balancer at the clustering level of the software itself providing the corporate service.

Workplace Virtualisation Solutions
